Kickass and coronavirus Sunday

Kickass, the doorstop dog, says the keeper and Phyllis had a busy Sunday that included a burn of the prairie vegetation, visits from family and friends and getting acquainted with great grandchildren, all of which was more or less in violation of the coronavirus edict to personally isolate in your own best interests.  There was no way to do that, and it was a wonderful Sunday.

Now, however, Phyllis and the keeper will join the crowd in its wavering and uncertain cowering before the unknown.  Only medical appointments will be kept, as the media repeatedly point out how vulnerable the elderly are in the pandemic.

So each day takes on new significance for the keeper and Phyllis simply because it is here and the two of them are around to enjoy it.
