Kickass and Halloween disappointment
Kickass, the doorstop dog, once again tries to console the keeper in his post-Halloween disappointment at not having the imagination to convert his outhouse-dated Halloween history into something equally stupid, like tipping over a bathroom.
Since a brief attempt at trick-or-treating with a shot glass back in his more irresponsible days, and once wearing a garbage can as a costume, the keeper finds Halloween increasingly boring, and suggests that perhaps it should be combined with Thanksgiving to include turkeys, of which he is certainly one.
Truth be told, the keeper is in something of a day-after-Halloween pout because he does not have a heaping bag of candy to spoil his breakfast appetite and put him on the verge of nausea for a week or so.
After complaining to Phyllis, he may call a great grandchild to talk about the importance of holiday sharing.
