Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper is not among those asking to join the Robin Vos think-tank following Vos’s letter to Gov. Evers requesting that Wisconsin flags be lowered to half-staff to commemorate the passing of Rush Limbaugh.
Initially, the keeper thought to himself that he must have been wrong in the past about Vos—speaker of the Wis. Assembly, not having a sense of humor; but then when a copy of the letter was published showing that Vos was indeed serious, the keeper changed his tune and decided to write his own letter to the Guv:
“Dear Gov. Evers: Lowering the state flags to honor Limbaugh would be akin to the virtual neutering of Bucky Badger, or making a ‘Feminazi’ of Miss Wisconsin, or changing the state motto from ‘Forward’ to ‘Backward.’ Don’t do it. Tell Vos and his think-tank members—many of whom are too stupid to wear Covid masks even in the Assembly chambers and oppose your mask mandate, to…….. Oh, you know what to tell them. And on the subject of mandates, we need one requiring life preservers for those who are dog-paddling around in the Vos think-tank.
“Yours truly, Gerry Mandered esq.”
