Kickass and Phyllis cancer lunch

Kickass, the doorstop dog, joins the keeper in applauding Phyllis and the multitudes like her who do not let their cancer battles dominate their lives.  As she resumes a treatment regime following recovery from hip replacement surgery, Phyllis is back at her photo-artistry with an extensive exhibit in the Middleton Lutheran Church gallery, and with framing more work for future display elsewhere.

Folllowing a Tuesday visit to the UW Carbone Cancer Center, and encouraging words from Dr. Rose, Phyllis and the keeper stopped for a taco/salad lunch at Barriques in Middleton where they discussed the status of their current move to new living quarters, the possibility of taking a scenic railroad tour, recalcitrant politicos, and the weather.

It was one damn fine lunch!
