Kickass and toddler noise

Kickass, the doorstop dog, unaccustomed to the cheerful sounds of toddlers in the house, finds the “noise” a welcome treat.  The nonsense shouts and jumbled expressions take over the keeper’s thought process, and he is more or less out of business for the day.

So it will be present all too briefly.  And then the usual quiet will prevail.

Which is not totally bad, given that old guys and doorstop dogs can actually tolerate any kind of noise for just so long, as set in their ways as they are.
