Kickass birthday review

Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports briefly that those having the opportunity/obligation to mark the keeper’s continued existence as an Ice Age remnant, pulled it all off with aplomb, if not a tomato, all under the direction of daughter Pat.

It was an opportunity for the keeper to introduce Phyllis, which he did with his usual lack of dignity and groping for honesty by explaining that he and Phyllis are to be regarded henceforth as high school sophomores since that is what they act like and feel like.

The tomato fight, originally scheduled for 4 p.m. was put off in the interest of unwrapping expensive gifts of which there were none, unless you consider the boundless gifts  of love and fun, of which there was lots.  The keeper is pretty much a basket case today but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
