Kickass boarding the Ark

Kickass, the doorstop dog, passes on the keeper’s assessment of the local flooding as generally a Noah moment with the lineup to get on the Ark starting down at the Parkin Inn tavern across from the Post Office.  A minimum amount of wading will be required.

The keeper’s house is on top of the highest Mazomanie hill and if he floods out all of Mazo will be under several hundred feet of water, which reminds him yet again of how he paid flood insurance premiums for so many years before the dawning.

However removed from the flood plain, the keeper plans to board the Ark and would like to be in line just behind the giraffes, and if the tavern is open he will buy beer for Noah and the gang.
