Kickass burning in hell
Kickass, the doorstop dog, along with the rest of the populace is relieved at the warming weather trend, and is also happy that the keeper may finally stop with his Ron Reagan chant—“Not afraid of burning in hell.”
The keeper’s choice of George Carlin as a Sunday morning speaker on the subject of “Man in the sky” obviously marks him—the keeper, as “fallen away,” but he can live—and die with that; and beyond personal statements of this kind, he will not be doing any proselytizing.
Kickass, in the meantime, keeps his options open and prays to god (“dog” backwards) for an early spring.
