Kickass DNR Magazine
Kickass, the doorstop dog, says his keeper goes back almost to the Ice Age as a reader of the official DNR publication—when it was the “Conservation Bulletin” which he read in a one-room country school. Over the years it morphed into a colorful magazine and it was always like a personal letter from a benevolent and intelligent Wisconsin version of Mother Nature.
It figures that the end-of-the-bar, loud-mouth mentality now prevailing in Walker’s running of the DNR through his realtor-agent, Kathy the-fawn-killer, would do away with such a rare and beneficial bonding between a bureaucracy and the people it serves.
Onward and upward with resource stupidity and greed.
