Kickass Dory prospects

Kickass, the doorstop dog, says his keeper watched his whale-chasing dory, that he spent all last summer restoring, head up to the Minneapolis branch of the clan where there is a passel of young Captain Ahabs to enjoy its shining wood and sleek lines, and to learn the origin of its name—“Pequod.”

In the boat’s exit from his immediate life, the Pequod will continue to provide the old keeper with boundless pleasure as he thinks about those grinning, shrieking younguns having a ball out on one of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes.

He, and Kickass, as an auxillary anchor, may just have to go join them for a day or two this summer.

It is a prospect that makes your tail wag!
