Kickass elephant turd

Kickass, the doorstop dog, says the keeper, in the wind-down of the season of gift giving, recalls an incident many years ago when, as a journalist, he received from the late Chappie Fox a neatly packaged elephant turd.  Fox was promoting the Circus World Museum and the circus parade at the time.

Not being a wasteful sort, the keeper resealed the huge elephant turd and sent it to his brother Orville along with a note that said, “I thought you might find this of interest.”

There was some delay in a response, but Orv finally sent a note which read: “Do not ever send me another elephant turd.”  The keeper, wanting to be a good brother, never did.
