Kickass Floridians Blizzard

Kickass, the doorstop dog, is as sympathetic to the Floridians about the approaching storm as any other dog, and he hopes for the best for everyone.

But he wonders what year it was when that rip-roaring blizzard was barreling down out of Canada and about to paralyze the entire Midwest?  Whatever year it was, the messages out of Florida were about as sympathetic as Mom’s blessing to her daughter marrying “down.”  Kickass remembers one message from Florida saying, “Even loons know enough to come South for the winter.”

Well, to that, Kickass says if you insist on living in a hot swamp you gotta put up with the alligators.  Also, it hasn’t snowed here in Wisconsin yet and it is almost mid September.
