Kickass goes home again

Kickass, the doorstop dog, says the keeper and Phyllis have been off on a book safari to promote “Margaret’s War,” the keeper’s novel, and one of the stops was at the Library in the keeper’s home town of Barron, which was an audacious thing for him to do, considering that relatives and old friends would have way too much information about his early days, and he would thus be deprived of his inclination to embellish.  But it all went well, and the friendly crowd made the keeper feel like a puppy full of warm milk.  You can go home again, he decided, and Kickass would add that it’s probably best for him not to stay too long.
