Kickass great grandchildren

Kickass, the doorstop dog, says the keeper reports that unusual and most fortuitous circumstances put him in the company of two great grandchildren—Cole, 8, and Caroline 5 ½ , for an extended time, and pretty much without the interference of others; and  this will go down as one of the true highlights of the keeper’s summer.

There was his fumbling with his smart phone camera, and Caroline saying, “Let me do it,” and then doing “it.’  And there was Cole asking what the keeper knew about the 1800’s.

There was the campfire and ghost stories and just sitting together and talking, and the keeper sensing that he was in the company of true royalty and he should be humble about it.
