Kickass not wintering in Arizona

Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the Keeper is going to Ariz. today, which might mark him at least as smart as a migrating sparrow, but—get this, he is only staying about a week and then returning to spend the winter in Wisconsin, which, of course is true to his inability to make meaningful decisions.

Furthermore, and this is where it gets really off-the-wall, accompanying the keeper back from Ariz. to likewise spend the winter in Wisconsin is the lovely Phyllis who has declined the keeper’s offer of therapy and says she looks forward to helping him through the publication and promotion of his novel—Margaret’s War,

Some great women-like things are happening in Arizona these days, but nothing so grand as what Phyllis’s daughter Gina calls her mother’s “reverse migration.”
