Kickass post St Pats Day blues

Kickass, the doorstop dog, says on this post-St. Patricks Day Sunday, the keeper is reminded of another such day when as a Chi. Trib. columnist he obviously stepped over the boundaries of the Chicago Irish sense of humor by writing that people were tired of stumbling over the prone forms of drunken Irishmen.

There was a move to run the keeper out of town, led by a leading radio commentator of the day.

It was almost as bad when the keeper earlier with another newspaper, wrote that Norwegians tended to be stoic onto cold.  That generated a complaining letter to the editor from the keeper’s Norwegian mother.
