Kickass Rudolph’s nose

Kickass, the doorstop dog, says on this Christmas eve, the keeper, like everyone who still believes in Santa Claus, is comforted to know that the red bulb in Rudolph’s nose is the  old kind with a filament that eventually burns out, which explains why it may be dimming a bit these days.

But if it goes out completely, the keeper knows how to replace it, because it only takes one keeper to change a lightbulb, unless it is some hi-tech contraption that needs a password.

Also, the keeper says there is something to be said for sitting in the dark; it spikes up the memory juices which is important for everyone this time of year.
