Kickass shooting an elephant

Kickass, the doorstop dog, ponders the larger question of the day: If a photograph of one of your sons appeared on the internet showing him holding the severed tail of an elephant that he had shot, and  another internet photo showed a son holding a beautiful but dead leopard, would you say, “Good boys.” And raise their allowance?

The keeper, having assisted in raising four sons who lived life as if everyone, including the old man, was on a behavioral trampoline, is damn sure none of those sons would have shot an elephant or a leopard  just for fun.

If that had happened, that son would no longer be welcomed at the table, and if there is one thing that was important to all of them it was eating.
