Kickass SPI Great Am. Novel

Kickass, the doorstop dog, now on South Padre Island with his keeper and his keeper’s daughter Pat, hereby relinquishes all of his identity as a pundit/advisor on all political matters and will be lying under a beach umbrella trying to help his keeper take another shot at the Great American Novel. What do you think of this as an opening sentence: “Scarlett O’Hara was not beautiful but seldom realized it when caught by her charms as the Tarleton twins were?” We’re thinking of “Olga Swenson” in place of “Scarlett O’Hara” and “Tarleton” to “Peterson.” because the keeper thinks those names have been used before.Kickass the Doorstop Dog
