Kickass teaches a Russian to fetch

Kickass, the doorstop dog, having discovered the Russian hiding in the keeper’s tractor shed, is teaching him the finer points of “fetch” by throwing out a tattered copy of Democracy for Dummies which says if Democracy were a wheel it would be square but it would still keep rolling down the road.

So far, the Russian has gnawed through the D for D chapters dealing with the freedom to act just as incredibly stupid as possible and still not fear being thrown into a gulag, and several pages having to do with living under delusional and narcissistic leaders.

Once he masters “fetch,” Kickass plans to teach the Russian “Sit and Stay” which is something everyone in a Democracy knows instinctively, even the really dumb ones.
