Kickass Too Fast Time
Kickass, the doorstop dog, says the keeper is complaining that “time” is passing by much too fast and while he wonders what happened to yesterday, he is more bothered by not having any idea where the last year went, even the most recent decade.
What is needed, Kickass suggests, is a time drag, something on the order of a sea anchor that slows your speed before the relentless winds of time. Kickass, given his skill at stopping things, like doors, will be working on it and already has a prototype that looks like a rocking chair on skateboards. It needs work.
In the meantime, the keeper is trying to squeeze more out of every minute by walking slower, stopping often, staring at things and trying to remember just what the hell he went to get in the laundry room.
