Kickass Walker and the dead deer
Kickass, the doorstop dog, says that dead deer are as common a sight in Wisconsin as potholes. Hunters kill a couple hundred thousand annually, vehicles kill 50,000 or so and their heads and horns adorn homes and tavern walls from one end of the state to the other. So why is the keeper bothered by the dead deer out in the middle of the field across from his house?`
First, his house is in the middle of the original “hot” area for chronic wasting disease, and he has watched the deer population decline from lush to sparse, while the Walker led political gang threw out the biologists and brought in tavern loud-mouths, one of them from Texas, to deal with a highly contagious brain disease as if they had no brains themselves.
The dead deer out in the field is a symbol of how lots of things are going to end for this once forward-thinking, environment-respecting state with the Walker destroyers in charge.
