Kickass watches PBS

Kickass, the doorstop dog, joined the keeper and Phyllis in forsaking the MSNBC endless political haranguing for a series of PBS Wednesday night programs that were both reassuring and humbling: From unusual people enjoying nature to a portrait of the planet Earth in terms of billions of years to a bio about Grace Kelly, the programing did not even once refer to the prevailing political mess or any of the narcissist bums involved.

Takeaways from the evening:

*Being different should not in any way limit acceptance or outdoor involvement.

*The little pile of cells that comprise your being were a long time getting here and you are about as important as a fruit fly, actually less so considering your planetary fumbling.

*Grace Kelly was one classy woman.

And so to bed, to sleep, perchance to dream…..of scaling mountains with challenged climbers, riding Tyrannous Rex as a dinosaur flea, and sipping wine with Grace in Monaco.

What a PBS night!
