Meiller show

As a courtesy to the multitudes anxious to read the recently published novel—MARGARET’S WAR, author Bill Stokes will be chatting with Larry Meiller on Larry’s WPR show Thursday Feb. 28 from 11:45 to 12:30.  If it is necessary to rearrange your life in order to listen to Larry and Bill you should probably get at it.  Unlike Larry’s popular garden show on Friday, you will not learn about weeds and watering but rather about that time toward the end of WW II when thousands of German POWs were scattered across Wisconsin helping with crop harvesting and processing, and what their presence meant to a war weary and battered citizenry suddenly face-to-face with the enemy.
