Kickass and therapist Tara
Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that Tara the physical therapist has taken on the monumental task of keeping the keeper from falling on his face, probably only until he falls on his ass which has more cushioning.
Tara provides exercise examples that have the keeper standing in a corner on one leg for twenty seconds or rising up from a chair where he had been perfectly comfortable.
The issues of stamina and balance loom large in the keeper and Phyllis’s age group, and it is pretty much wrapped up in one word—EXERCISE!
The keeper has been using a walking stick as a balance aid and was told by Tara that he would be better served by using the stick in the hand opposite his weakest leg which she says is his “right” one.
The keeper asks where else can you get this kind of useful information as he invites Phyllis to stand on one leg in the corner with him to a count of twenty, after which she will hand him his walking stick—left hand, please?
