Kickass and things go wrong

Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports on the keeper’s day of errors and suggests that perhaps trying to coordinate his treatment at the VA eye clinic with son Mike’s molar extraction on the far west side was simply too much to expect, particularly in light of past history when the two of them have attempted various projects.

The hour and a half separation of the two appointments seemed totally workable with the end goals being to get the keeper home from the VA since he cannot see to drive after his shot in the eye, and then getting Mike’s tooth pulled.

For a variety of reasons, it all started falling apart early and it continued to do so until Vista West neighbor Jack was recruited by Phyllis to come to the rescue and retrieve the keeper. (What are neighbors for if not to be taken advantage of? Thank you Jack)

In the meantime, Mike got his eye extracted and the keeper is recovering from a shot in the tooth.
